As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process.

*Responsibilities:*
- Greet and engage with prospective tenants, providing excellent customer service throughout the leasing process
- Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit
- Assist prospective tenants with completing rental applications and necessary paperwork
- Conduct background checks and verify rental references to ensure eligibility
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Utilize property management software (such as Yardi) to maintain accurate records of tenant information, lease agreements, and rental payments
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any maintenance or repair issues reported by tenants
- Coordinate move-in and move-out procedures, conducting thorough inspections of units before and after occupancy
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the property, including floor plans, amenities, and local community information
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor pricing to effectively market available units
*Experience:*
- Previous experience in leasing or sales is preferred
- Proficiency in using property management software (e.
g.
, Yardi) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Strong administrative skills, including attention to detail and organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective tenants
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to leasing contracts is beneficial
- Understanding of facilities management principles is advantageous
