ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a Regional Manager, who will be responsible for driving revenue and EBITDA growth for multiple CertaSite offices throughout an assigned geographic region.
This role is accountable for leading our teams and ensuring strategic execution toward goals and alignment toward our vision.
This role requires a strong business acumen and ability to lead and empower others to their highest potential.
You will also be responsible for integrating newly acquired companies and integrating them from the beginning to end.
You will collaborate with general managers, service managers, sales, the executive leadership team, marketing, human resources, finance and others to help deliver best-in-class CertaSite experience.
This is a fast-paced and demanding role with high visibility within the company.
This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Know and manage the business by effectively using financial reports, workforce productivity measurables, assessing results, and developing specific actions directly related to business development and growth.
Coach and mentor managers to their highest ability of performance and leadership; developing soft people skills, running effective and efficient meetings, quarterly planning practice and project management.
Lead the integration of acquired businesses across the region.
Responsible to ensure that all associates are current and up to date with fire and life safety knowledge, use, and related product applications through a commitment to formalized training and development within prescribed timelines and standards.
Accountable to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans.
Lead, Manage and Accountability Must be able to pinpoint and prioritize issues with proposed solutions that are specific, clear and concise.
Consistently gives and receives feedback, celebrating wins and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Has experience creating a winning culture, aligned on purpose, values and a focused target.
Completes quarterly business planning cycles to identify areas of focus, solving biggest issues, assigning ownership.
Accountable for 100% completion.
Owns and manages the growth and development plans for all direct reports.
Operations Manage and identify ways to optimize workforce productivity and billable hours.
Understand and administer the HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with them, consistently between locations.
Accountable for achieving key performance indicators and measurables to improve performance.
Understand and manage all revenue streams to maximize gross margin and quality of performance.
Manage and ensure all CertaSite processes are followed by all.
Compliance to all safety and industry standards; DOT, OSHA, licensing requirements, safe driving practices accountable to all operational measurables and is comfortable managing the business with data, via excel and dynamic dashboards.
Must be comfortable participating in a continuous improvement feedback loop with ability to implement and support change management.
Accountable for all operations; field operations, sales plan and implementation, inventory management, scheduling, and workforce productivity and customer experience.
Customer Engagement Resolve escalated customer issues in a fair and consistent practice, elevating the best interest of the customer while balancing the company’s interest.
Customer engagement must be a point of differentiation aimed at quality, ideas, acknowledgment, and inspiration, which leads to an emotional and loyal brand attachment.
Set high expectations for excellent customer service and hold the management team accountable to the measurable results associated.
Responsible to manage all offices consistently towards acceptable NPS scores, feedback, and conversion results and understands the tactics to improve.
Recruitment and Retention of Top Talent Ensure the overall people plan of the area reflects high standards, bench and succession planning, coupled with consistent mentoring and people development.
Direct a standard with office schedules that reflects a staffing approach that meets the customer’s needs to support new customer growth.
Ensure all offices have bench strength for future management needs both in existing and new markets.
Responsible to maintain a current career path assessment overview of each location team, and the region as an operating unit QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in a related field but not required.
Relevant related experience will be considered.
10+ years of proven leadership experience with previous business growth P&L responsibility 7 – 10 years of business experience within the fire protection/life safety industry, service industry, retail operations within the sales and / or operations function, with a minimum of 3 years of related multi-unit field leadership experience IDEAL QUALITIES Experience with M&A, including active integration involvement.
Proven experience driving and optimizing business process and performance, analyzing data and key performance measurables.
Experience leveraging innovation and driving adoption of technology and process.
Experienced leading people and winning cultures through high growth and customer acquisition.
Has experience working with acquisitions and/or in environments with change management Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Business travel which may include nights and weekends and 50%-100% of time during the week, which may include nights and weekends, physical requirements may include, but are not limited to: climbing up or down ladders, occasional lifting up to 50lbs, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and the like; remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; and general office duties including use of a computer Who are we?
