The Lexington VA Health Care System located in Lexington, KY is currently seeking a proven leader, with a successful track record of innovative and collaborative work for their highly rated 1b complex healthcare system, to serve as our next Chief of Staff (COS).
The incumbent must demonstrate a passion for and leadership of the foundational elements of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the COS assists in the development, organization, implementation and support of patient care, medical education, and research activities across our nine sites of care.
The incumbent works directly by communicating with the VISN 9 Chief Medical Officer (CMO) regarding the quality and coordination of patient care across the healthcare system and acts as a catalyst for change when new programs and systems are communicated through the CMO to the local facilities.
