As a Regional Maintenance Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing various types of service work performed by assigned store service team members and subcontractors for Casey's.
The Regional Maintenance Manager will have accountability of annual Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) for assigned area.
Travel, including overnight stay, is required.
Key Responsibilities include: Responsible for hiring, training, salary administration, performance management, coaching and corrective actions for direct reports.
Responsible for collaborating with team members on career development and goal setting.

Accountable for adhering to annual OPEX and CAPEX for assigned area and providing reporting updates to Management as requested.
Continuous improvement leader that is focused on driving value to the company through new methods and means.
Makes recommendations based on quality and cost effectiveness for change in store equipment.
Utilize key metrics and expectations for the team to identify opportunities for improvement and acknowledgement of top performers.
Oversee and monitor the installation, repair, and maintenance of store equipment, grounds and building electrical wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel devices.
Consult with federal, state, and county inspectors to ensure compliance with codes.
Collaborate with others to ensure that projects are completed in a timely, efficient manner.
Coordinate projects according to Company needs while making maximum use of available resources.
Collaborate with Operations leaders to identify and resolve problems that arise.
Oversee and monitor regional performance, revising plans when needed to achieve maximum results.
Recommend removing or replacing store equipment based on quality and cost effectiveness.

At least seven years of work-related experience required.
Strong knowledge of principals and techniques of organization, administration, general construction, and mechanical engineering.
Thorough knowledge of standard tools, materials, methods, and practices used in building construction and repair, including carpentry, plumbing, petroleum and electrical and HVAC-R.
Proficient in building trade standards and terminology.
Experience with facilities maintenance software programs preferred, i.
e.
, NuVolo.
HVAC Certification preferred.
Ability to develop plans and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of all store maintenance functions.
Ability to read and interpret building blueprints, diagrams, and drawings.
Ability to collaborate and build relations based on transparency and mutual respect, both internally and externally.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Proven ability to react appropriately under pressure and apply good judgement in ambiguous situations.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
