Job Description:
Accreditation Coordinator- Education, Cardiovascular Services.
ensures compliance with standards and evidenced-based care with established and adopted guidelines from accrediting bodies and other recognized authorities such as, The Joint Commission, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Heart Rhythm Society, and American College of Cardiology.
Works collaboratively with program medical directors and keeps the Director, Cardiovascular Services updated on program status and issues.
Ensures Baptist Health Lexington is in compliance with all regulatory standards, and meets or exceeds benchmarks.
Demonstrates expert knowledge of Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Neurovascular standards of practice.
Provides lectures/presentations for cardiac/neuro-related topics to appropriate stakeholders.
Develops, implements, and evaluates treatment guidelines, policies, and procedure related to best practice standards.
Coordinates performance improvement projects to promote patient safety and positive outcomes in the delivery of quality patient care and meet accreditation/certification requirements.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet appropriate deadlines.
