Job Summary
The Department of Psychology (https://psychology.

edu/) in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky invites applications for a full-time Lecturer to begin August 1, 2024.
The selected candidate will be appointed to a 9-month, non-tenure eligible faculty position for an initial two-year period that has the potential for renewal and for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years.
The position involves teaching three classes per semester and providing advising and/or mentoring services to psychology majors.
We seek applicants with a commitment to undergraduate education.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of undergraduate courses and be able to serve as an advisor and/or mentor to psychology undergraduates.
The anticipated distribution of effort will consist of 80% teaching, 10% service, and 10% professional development.
The candidate will also be expected to contribute to the teaching and service mission of the department, as well as to the department’s commitment to inclusive excellence.

A PhD in psychology or related field is required.
