Preschool Teacher

*Preschool Teacher* *Job Summary* Our teachers are responsible for providing early childhood education to children from twenty-four months up to five years of age in a Christian environment.
*Job Responsibilities* * Using our Christian curriculum, prepare lesson plans that meet educational requirements in an age-appropriate manner, and teach in a manner that meets the needs for the ages and abilities of all participating children.
* Manage a busy classroom environment, and provide the structure and discipline required for successful learning for everyone in the classroom.
* Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and other supplementary assistance.
* Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create an optimal learning and care environment.
* Provide helpful feedback to parents/guardians on a regular or as-needed basis.
* Address basic interpersonal skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and asking permission in the classroom.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Job Skills & Qualifications* * Proof of High School Diploma or GED * Experience in a childcare setting.
* Ability to develop lesson plans that meet educational standards.
* Familiarity with classroom management skills and Kentucky regulations.
* Willing to complete professional development training to stay compliant with Kentucky regulations.
*Preferred Training/Education* * CDA or higher education or 5+ years in an early childhood setting * Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $16.
