Pre-K-8th Substitute Teacher

Redwood Cooperative School seeks substitute teachers with a strong work ethic who are interested in exploring teaching beyond the traditional classroom in grades preschool-8.
Our ideal candidate has experience with and an understanding of Progressive Education and Project Based Learning.
Redwood substitute teachers help with the day-to-day operations of the class.
Candidates must value connecting children with outdoor educational experiences and be enthusiastic about taking children outside in all weather.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred and/or teaching experience at the elementary grade level; understanding of child development and experience working with a range of needs and abilities; Must be licensed or willing to become licensed through the Kentucky Division of Child Care.
