04, 2024 Program: SOF GLSS Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Engineer in the Lexington, KY area.
This position serves as a Junior Software Developer on a six-person Scrum team using Agile software development for a Warehouse Property Accountability Management system.
As one of the Software Engineers on this team, you will be part of small team responsible for all develop efforts on an extremely diverse array of capabilities and contexts supporting the Supply Support Activity (SSA).
This position will work directly with onsite customers within various business departments in the SSA.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the team with driving the technology development lifecycle, including system and software design and collaboration, automation tooling and infrastructure improvements, software integration, and other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: • Experience with the automation of software-based systems • Experience with software languages such as .
NET, React, Razor, SQL, C#, Java Script, HTML CSS, TypeScript, .
NET Core, and EF Core • Experience with software test tools that deal with application behavior • Experience with Telerik Reports • Experience with Kendo UI • Familiarity with Agile Software Development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) • Familiarity with Gitlab and Atlassian products • Active Secret Security Clearance Desired Skills: Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external customers to solve technical problems and make recommendations for product enhancement.
Experience with ATLAS Warehouse Management System.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Gitlab, and debugging tools.
Understanding of cloud and containerization technologies (i.
e.
Kubernetes, Docker).
Self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions.
Must be willing to learn new technical skills outside of comfort zone and be open-minded to diving into whatever technical challenges call attention within their periphery.
Leadership abilities to assist the team with quickly determining and implementing test automation needs.
Willingness for occasional travel (not expected regularly).
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
